Samuel was 6 feet tall with fair skin, dark brown hair, hazel eyes, and a slight pot belly. Unknown to him, he was being observed by an alien race known as the Gordanians. They waited until he was alone. Then they captured him and took him on board their spaceship. Samuel could barely even grasp the fact that he had been abducted by aliens, much less everything else that was going on around him.

"Star, or should I say Princess Koriand'r, you may have escaped us temporarily but we will make sure you do not escape again," said the Gordanian who appeared to be in charge.

"I have no idea who this Star person is but I can assure you I am not her," Samuel snapped back despite his predicament.

"If what you say is true these tests will kill you so I hope you are lying for our sake and for yours." bellowed the head Gordanian.

Samuel panicked even more than before. He had no way out of his situation and he was about to be exposed to massive amounts of solar energy. He had no idea how he could be mistaken for an alien princess but that was the least of his concerns. Against all odds, he knew he had to survive.

The surge of solar energy entered Samuel and altered his body. He became younger. He shrank down to 5 feet 6 inches and 148 pounds. His hair turned red and grew all the way down to his waist. His eyes turned a bright green.

The energy inside him continued to build. Samuel felt every cell in his body burning. He screamed in pain. Soon the pain faded. Every cell in his body was still burning yet most of his cells were not destroyed. Only some of the not so important ones like body hair and excess body fat.

Samuel could feel his genitals burning, yet it did not hurt him. They were just being rearranged as he, or she, became biologically female. She began to develop breasts and feminine curves. To the best of her knowledge, they were being created by all the solar energy she had absorbed. The energy was giving her super powers.

Her clothing changed into a purple outfit which left her midriff exposed. Even her mind felt like it was on fire. Within the burning sensation, she realized that she was Princess Koriand'r from the planet Tamaran. On Earth she was better known as Starfire.

She was part of a group known as the Teen Titans. Starfire had friends there. Friends that she needed to see again. Using her full powers, she escaped the Gordanians without even breaking a sweat. To make sure they did not follow her, she damaged their ship which left them stranded in space.

Starfire wondered what her friends were doing back on Earth. Most likely they were fighting an opponent at the same time she was but that was another story for another time.
