It was the day of the karate tournament. The finalists came from two long time rival schools, the School of Honorable Intentions and the School of Cheap Tricks. Marco was the defending champion. He came from the School of Honorable Intentions and earned his black belt while still a child. Although he certainly had his flaws, he tried to live honorably and give his opponents a fair fight.

Marco had been warned about the School of Cheap Tricks. They would do anything to win, including fighting dirty and even using magic on occasion. Despite this Marco thought he was skilled enough to win even if they did fight dirty. As he expected, he reached the finals. Even their illegal moves were not enough to stop him.

The other members of his school were not so fortunate. Illegal moves that the official never called were able to take them down. It would be Marco from the School of Honorable Intentions and Freddy from the School of Cheap Tricks in the finals.

Marco did not waste any time. He took down Freddy with a quick and power strike and got the first point of the final match. It took longer but Marco was able to block Freddy's advances. He landed a rapid series of blows of his own and got the second point. One more point and he won.

Although Freddy wanted to win fairly, he knew he could not do it. It was time to cast a spell. Marco suddenly became Marcy. Her uniform was basically the same and most of her physical features were still the same but she had become a girl. The crowd reacted as if Marcy had always been a girl. They saw nothing unusual about a girl competing in a tournament where all the other competitors were boys.

Marcy was in shock. Freddy was able to take advantage of the situation and quickly knocked her down, getting a point. Marcy tried to remain calm. Her vulnerable areas had changed slightly but everything else was more or less the same. She still knew the same karate moves she did before. Her power had decreased so she would need to plan accordingly.

Making such intense plans while fighting once again hindered her ability and Freddy was able to score another point. It was two all. Whoever got the next point would be the winner.

When combat resumed, Marcy remained motionless. It was clear she wanted Freddy to strike first. After a while, he went ahead and tried it, not seeing what harm it would do. Marcy blocked the strike and then landed a series of strikes of her own. Freddy was off balance. Marcy quickly landed a roundhouse kick and scored the final point. She was the winner!

There was still the problem of finding a way to chance back, but Marcy would enjoy the moment. Freddy not only experienced the humiliation of losing but also the humiliation of being beaten by a girl and the humiliation of knowing he could not even cheat to win. Marcy would spend time training girls how to properly defend themselves. Someday she might find a way to change back but even if she did not she would make the best of her situation.
