It had been over a year since Zeke and his family moved to a new home. When they did, some of his belongings that he outgrew were placed in a spare closet at the end of the hall. He had planned to go back and look at his old belongings to see if any of it was still useful, but he never did until that day. It had seen so long that he was not entirely sure what he would find.

Zeke found some old games and some stuffed animal that he could donate to charity. Then he found an old book with a bracelet beside it. He did not remember the book or the bracelet but they were in the spare closet so they must have been valuable at some point in his life. Out of curiosity he tried on the bracelet and to his surprise it fit.

As Zeke read the book, he found it familiar. It was the story his parents read to him every night when he was little. The story featured winged elves and their many adventures in a far off land. There was one particular character that he admired. Her name was Mia and she was the main character in most of the stories.

Eventually Zeke came across a page that had only the words I AM MIA printed on it. As soon as he reached that page a buzzing noise came from the bracelet that he was still wearing and it started glowing. The book seemed to glow as well. Not knowing what else to do, Zeke read the words he found there.

"I am Mia," he said.

All of the sudden Zeke felt like he had been pulled into the book. Yet it was not the book. It was another world. The first thing he noticed was that his clothing had changed. He was wearing Mia's pink dress and boots. Even his hair was a pinkish color. All his features became feminine and slender.

Wings sprouted out of his back. His features became more and more like a female elf and less and less like a male human. As the final changes took place he, or she, could tell that she had literally become Mia. She tried to control her wings but found herself unable to do it.

Considering how high in the air she was, this was a problem. Mia tried to control her wings enough to slow her fall as she looked for someplace soft to land. She crashed through the tree branches which slowed her fall. Desperately flapping her wings, she crash landed in the relatively soft grass without getting seriously hurt

After dusting herself off, Mia looked around and made a surprising discovery. A unicorn named Lyria was about to give birth! She knew this because she told her. According to the story, Mia was supposed to find a suitable place for Lyria and her baby. She had no idea how she could do it without being able to fly.

Then two elves flew over to help her. Their names were Mo and Yuko. Mo was a prince and Yuko was Mo was the prince and Yuko was a supporting friend. Both of them helped her with the search until they found the proper place. Mia thanked them for their help and they said they were glad to be of service to her.

The unicorn baby was named Onchao and he could make plants grow where none could grow before. Just when Mia thought she was going to spend the rest of her life there, her bracelet began to glow and buzz once more. All the changes that happened before were reversed and Zeke found himself beside the spare closet reading the book once more.

Zeke wondered how much time had passed and discovered it had not been long at all. He thought it was almost an entire day but it was not more than a few minutes. With this time difference, Zeke realized he could have many more adventures as Mia. He just needed to make sure he used this power wisely.
