Pascal was 21 years old. He had been shorter than most people his entire life. If he was taller he would be better able to get a job and if he were shorter at least he would get attention. As it was he felt he was the wrong height and it would doom his job prospects and other prospects for the rest of his life.

While browsing the web on his computer, Pascal found an ad that offered to solve any problem online. No one was required because it would all be solved by magic. Although he thought the idea was absurd, he was still willing to try it. Pascal wrote down, "I am tired of being a short guy who does not stand out."

The person who received his message cast a spell to change him into the exact opposite of what made him tired. Pascal would become a tall girl who did stand out. The spell was cast less than a minute after he typed his message. At first there were no noticeable effects but that quickly changed.

Pascal became taller. He was both surprised and pleased that it was happening. That was what he wanted. Then other changes started happening and his pleasure turned to horror. Spots appeared all over his body. Giraffe ears grew out of his head and his human ears disappeared. This was followed by horns growing out of the top of his head.

His body stretched upwards becoming both taller and thinner. Then Pascal discovered that yet more changes were happening. Breasts grew out of him. All masculine features disappeared and were replaced by feminine ones. His hair grew down to his waist and became spotted at the ends, like his body. Even his genitals changed making him, or her, a girl instead of a boy.

When that was done, her clothing changed to match his new body. It consisted of a white shirt. spotted skirt, and white boots. A new name also came to her, Paloma. The other name faded away and was soon forgotten.

After the initial shock, Paloma decided to return to the site of the one who cast the spell. She did not remember the web address but it was still in her history. She returned to the site and quickly typed, "The spell worked. I have become a giraffe girl three meters tall. I am not sure what to do!" A few minutes later she received a reply, "I can recommend some stretching exercises." That was not what she wanted to hear.
