Mitch broke into Tricia's office late at night. Both the security guards and the people who designed the security system were rather incompetent so it was fairly easy to do. Mitch went through her desk drawers and pushed aside jewelry and documents filled with incriminating evidence on major companies that could be sold to the highest bidder. That was not what he was after.

Mitch wanted to know why Tricia still appeared so young even though she was over 30. Being on the news for years, there was no denying her age. A piece in the puzzle was still missing, one that he was determined to find. After rummaging through every corner of her office, Mitch turned his attention back to the mysterious mask that was on her desk. Had the secret of her youth been hidden in plain sight the entire time?

Out of curiosity, Mitch tried on the mask and instantly regretted it. Tentacles emerged from the mask and wrapped around his head painfully squeezing it. Mitch felt dizzy and had to sit down. Fortunately there was a chair right next to the desk.

As his entire head started looking like the mask, Mitch was experiencing other changes too. Breasts grew on him. Body and facial hair disappeared. His body became more slender and more curvaceous. Even his clothing changed to an orange shirt, gray skirt, and matching gray jacket. His shoes became black high heels and panty hose appeared on his legs.

Mental changes were happening to Mitch too. He felt like he was battling with his own mind for control. His mind insisted that he, or she, was Tricia Takanawa, a female reporter. His protests became fainter and fainter as that other part of him became louder and louder. His last thoughts were that others had put on the mask as well which would explain how Tricia managed to remain so young. Perhaps he had discovered the secret of her youth.

Tricia ignored all this. Whatever the part of her that insisted on being called Mitch wanted, it was not important. She was in full control and he was best forgotten. The mask and tentacles faded away revealing the face of Tricia. No longer restrained by the mask, her hair fell down to just below her shoulders like it usually did.

For a moment, she wondered what she was doing in her office so late at night. Then she remembered she had a special report to do.

"Tom, I am standing here after being transformed into the incredible Tricia Takanawa," she announced. "Having complete control of this body I am pleased to let everyone know I will enjoy every second of my immortality. Tom?"
