The lanterns swirled around her, like little fire flies reaching into the night sky. One thousand lights, each carrying with it the hopes and dreams of each of the bearers. Amenii held hers deftly in her paws, it was not the most elaborate, nor the most well crafted.

But she had made it herself, Nera had helped, that was breaking with tradition, but she felt there would be an understanding, and that the individual would not mind.

Looking up into the sky, ‘I know your out there…’

‘I just wanted to say…’ The words caught, ‘To say… That I hope you are well. Were ever you are.’

With a spread of her hands, she let the lantern fly.

‘And Please, watch out for-‘
