A tentacle slipped over her shoulder, the suction cups gripping her applied a steady pressure. ‘Hello Krecker.’ She whispered as she looked up into the rafters where Krecker dwelled. ‘What? Yeah, I’m okay.’
Krecker clicked something noncommittal to that.

‘No.’ Jenn shook her head. ‘I just –‘

Another tentacle slipped around her waist, hugging her gently. Though Krecker never spoke, Jenn never had trouble understanding him. If she had to hazard a guess, she had would attribute Krecker’s innate ability to understand her as some form of telepathy, or perhaps he simply had a knack for reading her pheromones. Though that did not explain Krecker’s ability to understand her more subtle desires, her impulses, or even what mood she was it.

She did not need to ask, Krecker knew that she was troubled, and that she wanted to be comforted. Several tentacles drifted down from the ceiling, grasping her oh so gently and lifter her off of the floor. Letting her eyes slip closed, she felt two of Krecker’s tentacles slide up to cup her face, the tips pressing their suction cups to her temples.

The carboard boxes full of documents, taxes files, and scrolls that she had almost forgotten about, all of it began to fade away replaced by a warm filling sensation that spread through her body. Opening her eyes she looked around, the world had changed just as quickly as it had faded. In place of the office, a shallow sea stretched out all around her.

The crystal water lapped around her shifted from warm to cool almost at her very preference. Only a few inches deep she was able to lay back comfortably without fear of drowning. Jenn had always feared drowning in the ocean ever sense she was little, but here, here, she felt so at peace. White sand shifted under her paws, the tiny grains working their way through her fur. Almost lazily small fish swam around her, their silver bodies flashing in the warm sunlight. Light that was not burning her eyes, looking up she could see the clouds moving through the sky, yet it did not sting her face.

Around her, the water stirred, even with her eyes closed she could sense Krecker’s tentacles moving to embrace her, slithering over her body, cupping her. The muscular coils holding her tightly as any lover Jenn lay back and let the moment wash over her, steady as the lapping waves.
