Amenii tried to scream and instantly regretted it.Her breath came out in a froth around her, instinctively she kicked her powerful legs expecting to be propelled to the surface in a few short bursts.
She kicked, and kicked again, and again.
The waters ignored her efforts, its dark tendrils seemed to reach up to pull her down. Clamping her mouth shut, Amenii instantly regretted wasting her air. Pumping her arms frantically she made for the surface, her lungs screaming for air.

i really love it, the fact that it counterbalace heavily with your usual style make it extremely and visually strong. When you use it i can tell the scene you want to show is important. The shading is greatly done and the colors beautiful.
