The air hung heavily around her as she walked the rocky shoreline, weather smoothed stones and the shelled sea life that clung to their surfaces crunched under her padded feet. Though the worst of the hurricane had passed by her small island, now moving off to the west, the lingering edges of the storm still buffeted against her damp fur.Suppressing a shiver she padded down the beach surveying the damage the storm had wrought over the last several days. Trees that had stood for years now stripped of branches and toppled over like toothpicks lay around the perimeter. She would have to make an effort to secure those and drag them further in land. To lose such an invaluable resource would prove detrimental. But that effort would have to wait, for now she needed to find the camp. Wherever or whatever was left of it.

Nope, I'm a writer and I do a lot of research. Which would require a lot of reading and sitting in lectures about the subjects. In my case..... *I see Mina's curves in the right way as I still drag this type of eel* uh.... -ahem- staying on a tropical island with marine wildlife......*I see her looking at me with curiosity*

So I have gathered.....*thought hard from the makeshift hut we stayed in from the bones pinned the ceiling* I'm a bit surprised that there wasnt any coconut trees or any fruit trees. I get some sweet cravings from fruit lately.... but I'm still on a learning curve as you can tell

Only a few tools are in the bag there, a small ax, survival shovel, and my knife. The rest in there is my laptop, my phone and a few other gadgets I have. *hoisted the eel further* oh and my make shift map, which reminds me, we need to mark some spots

Ok, we need to find a better way to haul this around. *lowers the carcass to the ground and walks to Mina* drop the tail, it's not going anywhere. *walks behind her to open my bag* we're going to need vines and good barks of wood. We're going to make a makeshift slede..... I think.....

O/////O uh.....*ties it back on her* ok, I think we can twiddle with some of the wood. *grabs my hatchet and started cutting some bark, branches, and then began peeling them apart and rubbed them together* if I'm doing this right, we can turn it into robe. *twisted them together, making it long as possible. Then I began to fold the eel so I can tie it together. Then I began carving out a big piece of wood so we can roll the eel onto the board. Then I began carving out more wood to turn it to rope so we can pull it together * ok, this should do, what do you think?

My base camp should have a satellite for me to install into my laptop that's in my rucksack. If needed, which will be soon, I can send help and coordinates. Hhhrgh! *whips my head back from the smell that I breathed in* rrrrrggh.... that's nasty...
