The air hung heavily around her as she walked the rocky shoreline, weather smoothed stones and the shelled sea life that clung to their surfaces crunched under her padded feet. Though the worst of the hurricane had passed by her small island, now moving off to the west, the lingering edges of the storm still buffeted against her damp fur.Suppressing a shiver she padded down the beach surveying the damage the storm had wrought over the last several days. Trees that had stood for years now stripped of branches and toppled over like toothpicks lay around the perimeter. She would have to make an effort to secure those and drag them further in land. To lose such an invaluable resource would prove detrimental. But that effort would have to wait, for now she needed to find the camp. Wherever or whatever was left of it.

Then pulled out weird sticks and I looked at them funny* uh... oh dang I forgot I packed these too. It's instant fire. Waterproof, and can make instant flames when making bonfires. We'll save these for later. *stuffed them back in my bag and then began lighting up the fireplace* come on let's see some magic
