When your partner mistakenly thought that "eating a**" was literal.

Lol I had a similar thought when I first hear about theΒ carnivorous forest. Though I don't think she appreciates the pant taking it so literally.Β

Thank goodness, walking in theΒ carnivorous forest is a dangerous task... T.T
And this is how she got a new set of scars on her bum, that now help balance out the rest on her back.Β

BAD PLANT!! NAUGHTY PLANT!! <

The plant, lacking vocal cords does it's best to mimic a sense of hopelessness, until you fire up the weed whacker that is. That gets it moving in high gear, and it quickly ducks its head behind its thick vines. Careful to impose the bulge containing the bunny between itself and the spinning arc of the weed wacker.

"TIME TO MAKE THE SALAD!" I growl as I start trimming off the outer vines. I carefully avoid the bulge I think contains the bunbun as I go. Once the nearest vines are gone, I start cutting at the base of the bulge hoping to open it up before she can be swallowed any further.

The plant, having sacrificed its lesser vines to keep its meal, not moves on the offensive. As you try to cut at the base where the bunny it kept, the vine keeps shifting putting the bulk of the bulge directly in the path if your weed cutter.
From inside the bundle a muffled scream sounds as she struggles inside.

"Well, if you insist, weed," I mutter as I turn the weed whacker on slicing the bulge around the bunbun. I keep the cut shallow so the plastic cords won't go much deeper than the thickness of the monster's 'throat'. It's starting to look like a slasher flick with all the sap flying around.

As the sap begins to fly the plant bundles begins to jerk around as the vines writhe, making cutting a shallow pass near the bun exceptionally difficult. Twisting back and forth more vines move in to make the work more and more challenging. And from inside the bundle you can hear the muffled screams of the trapped rabbit within.
Jay was not having a good day. Being bitten and then swallowed by a giant plant had not helped her mood any.
And now the plant seemed determined to try and beat her to death against the ground floor.
'Stop! Stop! She cried though she doubted that the plant understood.
The plant was not having a good day either. What had happened to be a pleasant, though, on the small side of a meal had come into its reach and had not even put up that much of a fight when ingested. Now though there was another predator that wanted its meal for own, and the plant was loath to give it up easily.

"The day I lose to a weed..." I mutter as I drop the weed whacker. Putting on the gardening gloves, I reach in to grasp one of the open slashes near the bunbun. Using both hands, I try to rip open the gash far enough to extract the rabbit.

With considerable pulling your hand manages to find purchase, and the gash you have opened begins to rip apart like a zipper creating a hole just large enough to see the matted fur of something inside. Something wriggling with desperation, and frantic to get out.Β

I pull the gash open wider, trying to get to a place where I can grip the furry lump and pull them free from the killer weed.

With a tremendous heave you manage to widen the tear open a soft ball sized hole, and within is the slimy mess of matted fur. Though it is impossible to make out much more than the bulbous shape.

neorenamon In reply to Code-Shark [2019-11-01 21:28:43 +0000 UTC]
With great bravery (or stupidity, depending on who you ask), I stick my hand into the hole to see what I can grab. After fishing around a few seconds and realizing how gross the fluids are in it, I grab something that feels like a leg. Pulling it out, it seems I've found a rabbit's foot, which may be lucky for me but not very lucky for the bunny so far.

Still twitching, a hopeful sign of life, Jay's foot slides out of the hole, though it is a tight fit. Straining inside you can see the larger bulge begin to writhe frantically. And with a sudden sucking sensation the slimed rabbit foot is nearly sucked from your hands as the plant tries to draw the bun deeper into its folds.
