Do not wish on a Monkey's Paw.

This was suppressed to be a Halloween short, A little piece where Amenii and Nera travel out to a cabin for Halloween. Their rational being, the woods, in the dark, away form civilization, would be spooky. The gentleman who even rented them the cabin, almost at a the drop of a hat, informed them, 'Oh, there's just one other thing. The cabin is haunted.'

Dismissing spectral entities, but enjoying the romance of the idea of spending a night in a haunted house together. Nera's prevailing theory being 'The busty female protagonist always survives!'

'And what about not so busty bunnies?'

'They get eaten within the first five minutes to build suspense. '

And thus under a lot of paranoia fueled by countless horror stories, Amenii insisted on searching every inch of the house. This investigation lead to the discovery of a small withered hand. Recognizing it as a Monkey's Paw, Amenii, having read the book finds it a cute addition to make the house just that much more creepy.

Before she dismisses it though, she does get the itch to try it out, not expecting anything to happen.

'I wish, I were big big like Nera, maybe even bigger, even if it's only for a night.'

Not wanting Nera to walk in and see her making a fool of herself she discards the paw...

And we all know what happens from there.
