Thank you, and yes, after a while the constant threat of facehuggers just becomes a background noise to her.

It's always funny to see when a character is suddenly no longer afraid of the threat!

ROFLMAO! Β
Facehugger: Denied!
Xenomorph: Damn! siiigh, to be fair i supose there is only so much a bunny with morning sickness can take!
still i think she'll be a good xeno mommy, maybe even a queen's mommy!

Oh, she has turned out to be a good mother, delivery was a little rough, but she still managed. It just took a lot out of her as there were twelve of them.
The result, half xenomorph, half bunny, and dangerously cute.

any chance of a warm fuzzy pic of mommy snooze with the newborns?! Β

Well.... ... .... ... ... Yes. ... ... ... ... It's not so...warm and fuzzy.... ... it's more of a sort of melancholy heart touching moment that makes most people cry or tell me it is to emotional to look at for long. To get the full emotional rampage be sure to read the description under the picture. But be Warned, this is a... Powerful piece, and it may do some happiness shattering.

Lol!
Pilot: 'How far are you from the ship?!'
Marine: 'Do you want that in meters, or number of things trying to kill us?'

And then there was the ever:
Marine captain is pinned in cockpit of crashed ship while the Alien queen prowls outside trying to kill the last standing marine in a cramped hanger.
'How you doing sir?'
'I could use a magazine.'
Classic, just classic. Ah, got to love those marines to the end.

Too bad that they all died minus Hicks. At least they inspired modern sci fi and demonstrated that pulse rifles are better than blasters.

Yeah, what I really regret is that the only real follow up to the Alien film was Aliens (the one with the Runner.)
Laser cannons, people get there hands on one and they think their invincible. Mutter mutter, Storm Troopers... mutter mutter.

Alien 3, and it was nice. Weird with all those prisoners, but nice.
Storm troopers are actually the SEALs equivalent of the Empire. The guys that wear the Vader-like armor are the actual troopers. Their aim sucks because the want the heroes alive (to track them back, for Vader...), and their armor is actually strong and impervious against "slugthrowers" (in the Tantive IV, you can see some storm troopers that took direct blasters get up, while rebels that werenΒ΄t hit died because of the splash of the blaster).
On the other hand, a hypersonic, .30 caliber assault rifle was not in the minds of the makers of that armor; neither were the C-14 impaler, BR55 rifles, m41 line, or even a .50 caliber.

To true, got to love that 'Primitive projectile technology' I cant remember were that line comes from all I can recall is that the alien race they were fighting had exhausted all their resources trying to build newer and better energy based weapons, only to have the humans walk in with their P90's and start wreaking the place.

Pootisman90 In reply to Code-Shark [2017-01-17 19:38:17 +0000 UTC]
Primitive? Do you know how advanced is a railgun compared to an energy gun? Very, since it shoots a slug at high hypersonic speed AT THE LEAST.
Also, that line come from Stargate, where the staffs were made for terror, and the P90, for war.

Code-Shark In reply to Pootisman90 [2017-01-17 19:56:54 +0000 UTC]
That was it! Ah, the itch has been scratched.
Oh yeah, the rail-guns are kick-ass technology. A friend of mine and I were working on building our own from plans we found online. It was going to be a small thing, only six feet long, alas we never got all the parts together to finish assembly. Currently it sits in storage waiting to be completed.Β

Pootisman90 In reply to Code-Shark [2017-01-18 05:33:04 +0000 UTC]
Our technology is still not that advanced in what account to magnetic weapons. Either use a smaller projectile, wait a couple years to finish it or just make it longer. As long as you donΒ΄t give it the power of a recoillless gun, it should be fine.
WhatΒ΄s better, a dc-15 or a c-14?

Code-Shark In reply to Pootisman90 [2017-01-19 10:11:12 +0000 UTC]
If memory serves, we were planning on using a quiet small projectile. As for powering this little toy, I would have to dig up the papers again, but that is several states away.
