When rabbits are scared, they DO make a screeching noise.Β Kinda reminds me of the time I had surgery and there was a tube that was put in wrong and I was in such pain I was screaming. And another time I had a reaction to some anti vomit drugs I was screaming in my sleep and the nurse yelled at me for it. Poor AmenniΒ (I forget how her name is spelled).Β

I will confess that there is a great deal of personal feelings that go into the last few panels. I too was subjected to the hospital, mine was in the for of a martial arts accident and I had to go into surgery. I first had to drive in without pain meds, and I felt everyΒ bump on that long drive over. Then when they administered said medication, I kept nodding off and would stop breathing. This resulted in the several alarms sounding and me being shaken awake by frantic nurses.
I'm not sure who had it worse, as this happened three times during the night while we waited for the meds to wear off.

I was in for a hysterectomy. It was a urinary catheter that was placed in my wrong or too big. Β I felt every bump as the orderly wheeled me in from the recovery room to my hospital room. Β
The second time was just when I could NOT stop vomiting. It wouldn't have been so bad if the nurse hadn't bitched at me. I don't know why I didn't report her.Β
