I hate this piece.
I hate it with a passion.
When I began working on it and it was just a line sketch it was beautiful, fun and had such life to it. Now that I have had to shade it though it lost so much. I think this is because I had to sink so much time into it. Well over 12 hours of line work, shading, and modifying.
There is a lingering sadness, that in all probability, this piece shall be looked at by a handful of people for a brief second, as they determine whether or not it is worthy of being saved to their desktop and later admired.
Sigh.

The crutches that are in there....that is pretty original for a naga piece I will give you that!!!!
Do not be so hard on yourself-it came out looking well and if anything-you have developed your skills further after completing it!!!!

Thanks again, the crutches, yes, they are the defining part of her personality. She suffers from a spinal injury, she can move without them for a short time, but nothing physically serious.

It has just struck me that as a viewer one does not come across so many disabled OCs at all...in ANY form of art...that is a sad thing...
I am glad you have made your creation so vulnerable,despite her fearsome appearance...it is something we can all learn from!

It ties in well to her character, cherry blossoms bruise very easily, and are very frail despite the trees strength.

I like this piece, but I totally get what you mean. I have quite a few mediocre pictures I put way too much time into. ;_;
