Not too late to call one in now. Maybe she'd protest a little becauseΒ she's a legal adult, but I think they do sometimes call in pediatricians or pediatric specialists for people with genetic conditions that cause them not to grow properly. I had to have an MRI done at a children's hospital once because I needed to be put out for it and none of the adult hospitals offered MRIs with sedation. Most of the doctors and nurses talked to me like I was an adult, but they did have a "child life specialist" come talk to me and tell me if I had any questions I could talk to her. I was like, "You do realize I'm 25 years old right? I had a hysterectomy and gall bladder removal before, so I kinda have an idea or two what being put under and having surgery is like." Β
