Sirse smiled as she drew in a deep breath savoring the rich smells that filled the air, a combination of humidity, plant, and fresh turned soil played across her senses in a pleasing pallet. The fruit trees of the arboretum where just coming into season, she could almost taste the star fruit hanging above her, their deep yellow orange skins glistening through the skylights above. The stone bench she had seated herself on was pleasantly cool, playing contrast to the heat outside. She was glad that her winter coat had begun to recede replaced with her lighter summer colors. The red in her fur coming out like a fire as she moved into the summer months of the season.

Drawing in another breath she let her shoulders relax as she fell back and stretched out upon the bench, straining her shoulders as she pulled them in tightly before gradually freeing them once more. This, the tranquility, she had almost forgotten what it felt like to have some form of peace. Or so it had felt, but here, here, she could relax and savor the moment.

Eyes drawn to the canopy above, she looked up at the lightly tinted glass squares nearly hidden behind a canopy of green swaying frons.

This is what summer should feel like.

Before she had finished the thought a shadow fell across her, and hastily she pulled down her shirt realizing it was threatening to rise up and expose her rounded breasts. It had been an effort to find a sports bra that was able to contain her, and even more so an exercise in patience to get into it, still all the effort had been worth the struggle.

Eyes flickering open she smiled as she as a familiar figure framed by the sun.

‘Bonjour monsieur.’ Sirse waved, letting one hand trail up to drape up over her head, casting her hair that she had been carefully growing out to spill over the bench in a red swirl.
