Oh boy, thirty degree drop is going to be something to try and get used too. We had a mild dusting, and this time it is here to stay. Thankfully the roads remain pretty clear, though there are now ice patches under the bridges, this is always exciting to watch people who have never driven over these before as they hit them while trying to accelerate. It is almost comically sad to watch their panicked attempts to course correct in thee lanes of traffic.Β

They freaked out here just from the cold. No snow or ice and still drivers were freaking out.
I visited with a driver who stopped in the road right before a bridge. He stated he was waiting for the sand trucks. I pointed out there was no ice........ the driver pointed at the sign he read literally......Bridge May Ice in Cold Weather. So itβs cold.....therefore the bridge is icy. After explaining how moisture is needed to form icy the driver explained it was my fault if he crashed and then slowly crossed the dry safe bridge. I took the nearest exit before he got to the next bridge.

About three days ago in the late night hours one of our guys found one of the number counters, a simple cylindrical clock counter, and, soon after began the times clicking compilation.
The objective was simple, how many times can you click the counter in one minute. Seems innocent enough. And it was until recorded started being set, then it was full on click mania. >.<
People getting into a clicking spree and throwing their whole arm into it in an effort to get a few more clicks in while turning a deep red in the face - it got to the point that out boss finally took notice and storming over demand to know
'What the #### are you three doing over there!'
To which the current click record holder had to sheepishly hold up the counter. We never go a chance to explain as she just shook her head and walked away muttering something that I am pretty sure referenced our sanity.
