Covered in sweat, Amenii curled the still damp blankets around herself, despite the nurse’s protest.
‘You need to bath!’ The fox added curtly, trying hard not to hold his nose. ‘Your sheets are socked through to the mattress, and your fur is a mess.’
‘No, no.’ Amenii replied hastily. ‘I’m fine, just fine.’
Scoffing the nurse, refused to give in so easily.
‘Madam. You have just overcome a great ordeal. I understand your hesitation, but please. This is for your own good.’ Withdrawing from a sealed package he placed a change of undergarments on the bed beside her before he withdrew. ‘Please.’
He was not going to relent, of this Amenii was sure. With a weary sigh, she slipped on the change of clothes and braced herself. She had just begun to pull on her shirt.
‘Good God!’ The Nurse stared at her with horror.
Ruefully Amenii pulled down the top of her gowned and said nothing.

Nera led the way, carrying Amenii in her as they left the building.

She would look around as they went, "So, yah got a car yah came in or?"

'I walked.'Nera admitted, 'the light rails should still be running, and the station is not far.'

The walk to the station proved uneventful, thought the tram was running late, and caused Nera some concern.
A brief trip by rail later deposited the group in a rural area in the east quadrant of the city center.
Buildings reached up to touch the sky, while smaller squat complexes nestled in besides them.

Ebony laid beside them, and yawned as it grew later and later.

The room they were in was spacious enough, the center of the room given over to a large circular bed, curved in the shape of a shallow bowl. Pillows lined the sides, allowing sleepers to assume any position around the perimeter. A bamboo railing, well worn and scratched in places encircled the perimeter of the bed, with rounded posts at regular intervals.
Nera had helped Amenii change into her a night gowned, before changing into her own sleep wear, a tad more modest than what she usually wore, that being nothing in most cases. The slip left her arms bare, but cascaded past her knees ending in a simple finish of deep green emerald. Rummaging through their wardrobe Nera managed to produce a purple satin gowned, and presented it to Ebony.
'It may be a little small for you...' She held the slip up to to try and measure Ebony's frame. 'But you are welcome to say with us for the night.'

She looked at the gown, and smiled, "I think I could for the night."

'I think Amenii would like that, the bathroom is the first door on the right.' Pressing the gowned into Ebony's hands. 'I'll go collect Amenii.'

The smaller canine looked at it and smiled. Eventually she would make her way to the restroom to change.

While Ebony changed Nera collected Amenii in her arms, carrying the bunny to their circular bed.

Ebon finished changing, and while it was a bit tight, it was still comfortable for her to walk in.

It took a moment to register: not the same wolf. Forcing her heart to stop racing, Amenii tried to stop the shiver that ran down her spine.
Not. The. Same. Her captor had been white, pure white with cold eyes.
Struggling Amenii tried to remwmber the wolfs name... the past few days were all a blur.
'Y-yes' she managed to stammer, only able to meet the she wolfs gaze for a second.

The wolf was rather chipper, and held herself with a bit of pride. Helping the rabbit she was now guarding was an honor to the new officer.
This walk brimming of self worth was somewhat stifled as a rhino walked past, to which the rabbit would notice her guard, flinch a bit.

Well, fun little fact, Amenii has a lot of scars, she is just very careful to keep her fur well groomed and brushed so no one notices them. But following getting sick, and being run to the hospital, pumped full of anti-biotics, and recovering for three days, her fur is a total mess. And things are showing that she has kept hidden.
