Welcome to Zootopia: Arctic Drift, A world covered in glaciers, wind storms, and frozen seas, A desolate waste that encompasses almost all of the planet.

Centuries before the Zootopia was even a dream, when mammals wrapped themselves in hides, when relations between Predator and Prey were turbulent at best, when mammoths still roamed the Earth. When not months before a pride of lions had met, with the chieftain of the herd of the plains to draw piece between their peoples.

This is when the drifts came.

Like a cold hand reaching down from the north, a while blanket emerged over night, the nights grew longer, and the air colder. Glaciers, where there were none before appeared, forcing tribes to flee before their onslaught.

The elders professed assurances that the Great White would pass. But as, days became months, months became years, and as food grew scarcer, a darker reality began to settle over the tribes.

Present day:

Amenii Oakwoods padded through the snow drifts, her leg throbbing with each step.

The Snow fell heavily around her, and she hoped it would obscure her trail. She had lost sight of her pursuer at the tree line, but she was sure he was still following her. Chancing a look behind her, a gal of wind snapped her hood back, exposing her ears. With gritted teeth she bore the winds icy fangs that gnawed into her exposed fur, as sharp as any predators.

Nothing.

Darkness and white lit snow was all she could see. Wrenching her hood back in place, she turned and limped on, with luck she could put at least a few more miles between them before the storm made travel impossible.
