Description
This is one of the six shots I contributed character animation to for Double Rainboom, and it plays at about 9:38 → [link]Up top is the animatic I was provided in the flash file that handed out. Down below is my final animation.
This went through a number of revisions, and I honestly made this a lot harder than it needed to be. If I was animating it now (after having properly animated this shot: [link] ) I would have done things a lot differently. But I think it turned out okay.

Ah, the magic was added in after the fact. We considered that to be SPFX.

That's maybe poorly named. The bottom pane is the final character animation, but there was SPFX animation and the background added in afterward: [link]
