DAmn it, I hate weddings! And boy did I get hauled to a freak show of a wedding this morning. It was my wife's cousin Tiffany, a twin with Tourette syndrome. And she was supposed to marry this deaf exchange student from Zimbabwe named Tichawonna. Tichawonna told me last week at the bachelor party that his name has something to do with "we shall see" which, since he is deaf, is better then "we shall hear!"
Anyway... so we get to the church, find our seats, and I am immediately annoyed. Sitting right behind us is my wife's great aunt Mildred. Not only is she an asthmatic with chronic bronchitis, she has advanced emphysema and totes around an ICBM sized oxygen tank. A more repulsive creature has never used a walker on the face of the Earth; let me assure you of that!
Knowing it's going to be a long wedding (and prolonged by my wife's cousins barking obscenities every 30 seconds), I find an excuse to bust out my "always smarter then me" "smart phone" and head to my first stop on the web each day, my messages and notices page on deviantART. What’s this, a wedding present for me... and all I have to do is wait until April 7th to find out what it is? Woohoo, I can hardly contain my excitement!
So the wedding starts and is moving right along and, ignoring pleas from my wife to put my phone away, I am enjoying my butt off browsing deviantART to my heart's content. As I fall deeper down the rabbit hole using the deviantART “Browse More Like This” button like there is no tomorrow, I suddenly realize that I am actually having a good time at this wedding.
Then I get a tap on the shoulder.
I turn around, and it's Mildred. And there, not more than three inches from my face is her bratwurst of a finger and she's waving it at me and saying something, only I can't understand her through the gasping, coughing, and phlegm chewing. So I smile, nod, and tell her no I can hear just fine thank you and turn back around. And go back to my wedding appropriate “passionate” browsing on deviantART.
Not thirty seconds later, I get the kielbasa again. Only now she is pointing it at my phone and fighting off a death rattle to say something. So again I smile, nod, give her the time off my phone, and turn back around.
Now the minister is just getting to the part where he asks if there are any objections, when from behind me comes the most awful and disturbing sound I have heard in all my life.
It's Mildred. And she's standing. She has pulled the tubes out of her nose and is saying something.
Or rather is trying to. Because in the middle of her croaking, Tichawonna’s father, mistaking her frustration with me for an objection to the wedding, jumps up, pulls a blow gun from under his dress, and shoots her in the neck.
Well that didn't help her breathing any.
And then all hell breaks loose.
Tiffany immediately goes into Tourette's outburst overdrive and begins barking every obscenity known to man, and a good many I had never heard before, while her twin sister, a bride's maid, bursts into the funky chicken. Tichawonna, the only one not to have heard Mildred’s outburst, and thinking Tiffany is just animated with saying the final parts of her vows, is actually jumping up and down and clapping in excitement when his father, aiming at Tiffany’s sister, accidentally puts a blow dart in the middle of the minister's forehead. Tiffany’s dad, screaming "the British are Coming!", runs over and throws a punch at Tichawonna’s father, but missing, and knocking the basket off Tichawonna’s mother's head, sends a large rodent scurrying into the masses. And with Mildred floundering on the floor in a scene reminiscent of when Jabba the Hutt got choked out by Princess Leia, the entire circus goes stampeding over and around her towards the door. It wasn't pretty.
And according to my wife, all because I had to take advantage of my deviantART addiction right then and there.
I can only imagine how much fun a Hell Freezes Over Premium Membership might be... and... I am totally looking forward to the April 7th announcement of free admission to the upcoming deviantART exhibit at the Smithsonian Museum (along with complementary copies of the new “Angry Birds - deviantART” for everyone that visits the exhibit).

On April 7th, All Deviants will become wheat pocky. We will be fed to Llamas one by one, only to be interrupted by an army of Cats and Doges who will turn the left over pocky-fied Deviants back into anthropomorphic beings to wage war on the Llama's. The battle is long and epic until we later find out the those who were fed to the lama's weren't Deviants at all. They were actually Aliens in disguise and the only way they could be free from their disguises was to be turned into wheat pocky and eaten by the Llamas. Everyone but the Llamas are shocked by this revelation, thinking that the Llamas had intended to eat the Deviants for their own gain.However, a greater evil appears (even though the wheat pocky was just a misunderstanding), and threatens to destroy not just the Llamas, but all who participated in the fight with the Llamas. Even the Aliens the Llama's were freeing.
Another battle ensues with great, epic ferocity, and thanks to all working together, the greater evil of Artist Block is cracked and crumbled into harmless dust. All is well once again and the victory is celebrated by a party that spans from earth to the moon with pies, rockets, and rocket pies because we all know that cake is a lie. All art at the Devious Shop will be %40 off and everyone will enjoy the double sized serving of Daily Deviations and good art to go around. We wake up the next day to just enjoy the sweet memories of battles and victories that only took us 10 minutes in total before the Deviant Day Rocket Pie Party.

Reopening the T-Shirts and Gear store to give everyone another opportunity for the great discount deals. T-Shirts, Hoodies, Llama Plushes, Artist Backpacks and more...I definitely wanted to get more than I could have before it closed down. There will be a llama march that will invade earth and we will discover that the ruler of deviantart all along was a llama called Berasik and every deviation adds to his power and every point that exists on deviantart is their real currency and secretly they have merged our worlds that is why we are getting global problems such as global warming and it is why America froze. Berasik is merging our worlds and he plans to rule. When he steps out llama fur will envelop us all to our spots, which we can't move without his spit which melts away the fur traps. All preisdents will have to swear fealty then llamas will fly planes dropping out big barrels of llama spit that releases us from their holds.
They will turn us into slaves and only deviant members such as ourselves will join their forces. The rest will help build Earth and remake it into, as Berasik calls it, Llamarth!!
