The inscrutable event that is going to occur April 7th is not about what is going to happen but what DID happen. 14 years ago deviantART was in real trouble from the 1999-2001 Dot-com Bubble collapse. Online companies were toppling left and right and dA was no exception. dA was not a prosperous website back then, in fact it didn't generate enough profit to cover it's own cost and was only kept alive by the funds of DMusic. Facing imminent doom, Matthew Stephens aka matteo , remembered an old folklore from his Peruvian ancestry. The ancient folklore told the story of a disastrous flood that was sent by the gods to punish the corrupted people. The llamas looked to skies and were told about the cataclysm beforehand and because of that the llamas were able to lead all the uncorrupted to safety. So going on a very very VERY long shot the third co-founder traveled to Peru and located a native llama. Using an English-Incan dictionary, he asked the llama how he could bring deviantART out of the chaos. To much of his shock and awe the llama replied. The llama said dA's downfall was inevitable and could not be changed in present but could be changed in the past (spoken in Incan of course). Now the co-founder knew that if dA were to live, he would have to change the past itself. He went to close friend and second co-founder of deviantART, Scott Jarkoff aka jark . Jark had had close connections with people in Japan's T2K Program and had found out that neutrinos could not only go faster than the speed of light, but could also affect the past if used the right way. Going through difficult means to "obtain" a piece of neutronium from the T2K Experiment and also "obtaining" a Casimir–Polder force device from the JST, they combined the two unfathomable objects together. They were able to create a portable machine that would be carried by the time traveler and a stationary machine that had to be kept in the present for the time traveler to return. Strapping the portable machine to Matt, they sent Finding out what has happened, Lynx TG ordered Angelo Sotira aka spyed to shut down deviantART. Not wanting to have all their efforts be in vain spyed compromised and shut down the stationary machine so Matt could not return. Meanwhile in the past Matt was grooming the future buyer of DMusic, Michael Robertson. Matt had traveled back to 1977 where he groomed Robertson for 10 years subtly and subliminally implanting the interest of music into his conscious. He then enrolled Robertson into UCSD under the care Donald Norman, whom Matt had befriended and would assume the responsibility of mentoring Robertson in exchange for information on future technological design trends. Believing Matt had finished his duty, he went to recover the portable time travel machine from where he had hid but then had noticed the connection had been disconnected from the present. Concurrently in the future, Matt's effort had worked and deviantART was now thriving but the stationary time machine laid broken and forgotten. Until March 30, 2014 where it was rediscovered by codenamepanther and reactivated. Matt who left messages in the past which we received in the future said he would try to return the seventh of every April and now that machine has finally been reconnected we will have our long lost co-founder back.

Once upon a time there was a realm known as Deviansha. It was a mystical, yet small realm, filled with stars, and pie. Deviansha was inhabited only by its supreme ruler- the Wolfclown. Wolfclown spent the days of his immortal life swimming through the stars and inventing new flavours of pie. At the end of Deviansha existed a door known as C116, a supposed bridge between Deviansha and the blank Mortal Realm. Wolfclown had forbade himself from ever opening the door of C116, but even divine gods of such deviousness, ify-ness, and majesty such as the Wolfclown get lonely and bored of inventing pie flavours. So one day, the great and powerful Wolfclown gave into temptation and opened the door of C116. On the other side Wolfclown found exactly what he had expected- a blank realm. Nothing but a white landscape for its entire massive area. Wolfclown named the Mortal Realm "Earth", and decided that he would recreate its barren landscape into a world of colours. But Wolfclown could sense dark forces stirring just outside the Mortal Realm. Dark forces who would seek access to the holy Deviansha through the door of C116. So Wolfclown created the holy Deviant Llamas of Deviansha to protect the holy realm in his absence. The wisest of the llamas warned the Wolfclown that even with all of his might on April 7th 2014, Earth would inevitably fall at the hands of Wolfclone, leader of the dark forces known as Lag, and Wolfclown's evil clone. Wolfclown pinkie-swore the llamas that on April 7th 2014, before the attack of Wolfclone, he would "save the date"- stopping the flow of time in Earth and therefore freezing the forces of Lag in their tracks. And with that, Wolfclown set off to create his new world.
The realm of Earth lived many prosperous years in the hands of the Wolfclown. He created mortal beings to inhabit the realm known as "humans". Both the Wolfclown and the holy Deviant Llamas of Deviansha decided it would be best if the humans lived in a delusion- believing that they lived on a planet that was one of many in something called "the universe" and knew nothing of Wolfclown, Deviansha, or the holy Deviant Llamas. Wolfclown gave the humans creativity, luxury, and technology, among other things. He even made mortal not-holy-but still-awesome llamas for the humans. But although Wolfclown gave them peace, the evil forces of Lag-powers lessened due to the fact they existed just outside the realm-caused wars among the humans, and sought to make life for the humans miserable and filled with hardships and agony. One day, Wolfclown created the Internet as a gift to the holy llamas, so they too could have influence on Earth, the realm of humans. The llamas created many wonderful places on the Internet known as "sites". But despite the holy power of the llamas, the internet was fraught with followers of Lag, who slowed the Internet's speed for the sole purpose of annoying the humans. The llamas also created a very special site known as "Deviantart". Here, the holy llamas encouraged the human's Wolfclown-given gift of creativity. They watched over he site as the creators, and allowed the humans to develop a fondness for llamas without breaking their delusions. For years the humans lived more-or-less blissful lives, unaware of their impending doom.
But April 7th, 2014 draws near. The inevitable attack of the dark armies of Lag, led by Wolfclone is at hand. They seek to break into the realm in order to subject the humans to their full force, destroying the realm known as Earth before invading the holy realm of Deviansha through the door of C116. Even his majesty the Wolfclown, and the holy Deviant Llamas of Deviansha are powerless to stop the attack. Wolfclown dreads the day on which he must "save the date". He does not wish to freeze his Earth, for doing so would be too much like destroying it. So Wolfclown, along with the holy llamas have made an additional plan. The human llama-worshipers of Deviantart will be granted passage to Deviansha through C116, where they will live immortal lives as the surviving members of their species, swimming through the stars, playing with the llamas and eating Wolfclown's infinite flavours of pie.
April 7th draws near. The date will be saved. Will you?
