After the dissolution of the Archonite, the Knightly Order of Devalocka mostly disbanded. However, a number of their more prominent Chapterlords refused the JACOB command to turn in their Citadel Ships and left for the colony space instead.

After decades of persecution and sacrifice, the Devalocka Order of today is coming back into power under the protective banner of the Frontier Baronies. Their Questor Class Citadel Ships are seen as harbingers of justice for most. Each Citadel houses dozens of knights errant and their numerous retainers. They act as drydocks for several smaller ships and function as their homebase. Being completely self-sufficient, they can operate in the remotest regions of space.

They are not the fastest Arks in the Expanding Space Universe, barely breaking 12000X on the curvature warp scale, which means they can cross the Milky Way in about 9 years. However, they are formidable battle stations capable of wiping entire colonies in a breath of devastation - if their knightly code would allow it (it often does not).
