I like Samus's outfit in this final sequence. I don't think she's wearing it as a disguise, since not many people outside of her ordinary contacts know who she is without the armor anyway. She could be wearing it to stay warm, since the Metroid genes cause problems in the cold. But mainly, I think it's just a chance for her to go about in society looking both very dignified and very ordinary. Nintendo never seems to allow her the former, and I've never allowed her the latter.
