Gotta say, I think she's my favorite princess from MLP ^^ (possibly my favorite pony? not sure!)Her personality, and her happy colors <3
I haven't used my pastels in years, but wanted to try something other than digital art for Ipun 's mini contest (MLP MINI CONTEST! LAST DAY! )
SO I dug out my pastels and some textured paper I had and did this! It was definitely fun, and I'm definitely gonna try doing this again!
Gotta say though, when I first started drawing this I almost gave up because it was shapeless and didn't look like it was going anywhere--afterall, I more or less "forgot" how to use pastels. Eventually the details pulled things together though, and I'm really really happy with how it turned out!
