I realized I was missing a princess.

Cadance is a tough pony to draw. She's gangly and awkward, her colors are fussy, her hair is weird, and her jewelry is dorky. And I wonder if that was intentional, as a way to make the Hasbro-mandated Perfect Pink Pony Princess more... well, normally I'd say 'human'. Anyway, I like Cadance. It's just drawing her that was unexpectedly hard.

Also, her eye is too big. Argh. I'm never careful enough when I trace my sketches.

This was my first shot at drawing on bristol. Oh my, but that's nice stuff. As for my colored pencils, debuting in this picture are Cloud Blue and Dark Purple. And Sand finally came in handy.
