Description
Part of a larger project. I had a lot of fun with it.Dash has apparently reached that part of the story where anybody who interrupts her takes his life in his hands.
I still don't think I've got the hang of Spike. I must practice.
Man, I love shading things...
Done in ArtRage, using chalk. Which is probably my favorite.
ETA: And then I forgot to paint RD's cutie mark, so she leaped out of my laptop and killed me. The end.

Oh my. Um. It *can* mean that, but IIRC, it started out as "spending quality time with your kids": parents doing actual fun things with them instead of, say, kicking back with a beer and watching them run around and claiming that they were being attentive parents.
My idea of quality time is something like you see here. It happened a lot when I was a kid, and I loved it.

What a beautiful and simple drawing, this is awesome! Very nice shading indeed. I think Spike looks pretty good, actually.
