Physical Description: Powaqa is an average boned she wolf that looks like a stocky
brickhouse due to the thickness of her fur and fluff. Her muscles are hard, strong, but
not bulky like they would be on a more masculine frame. She carries herself tall and
proud, her narrow eyes often peering at those around her as if they were lesser beings.
Her movements are smooth and calculated..her volcanic eyes searing and dangerous.

      Traits:
Protective
Powaqa is fiercely protective of her pack when it comes to threats toward them. She
knows Howahkan will not thrive and be strong with a Naat'aanii that does not care about
her wolves. She is swift and fierce in retiation to dangers toward them and will not
hesitate to confront the problem.
Ambitious
Powaqa has a great drive to make Howahkan the strongest pack in Lunar Sanctuary. She
will stop at nothing short of death to make that happen, including driving her packmates
to be better, stronger, and smarter.
Obligatory
She means what she says. If she vows to protect you with her life, she will do just
that. If she vows you will not see the sunset..you can bet she'll keep that promise.
Aggressive/Fierce/Dangerous
Powaqa is a force to be reckoned with. There is no hesitation when it comes to
putting another in their place, reminding someone who's boss, or blazing a war
path...
Headstrong
If she wants something, she won't stop until she has it. If she wants someone gone,
she won't cease until they are gone. She does what she wants, when she wants.
Cruel
Powaqa not only is willing to see her enemies suffer, but seems to rather enjoy
inflicting it. She'll torture another with a gleeful grin on her face before ending their
pitiful life.
      In Depth:
Powaqa rules Howahkan with an iron paw. She takes the life and strength of her pack very seriously and any threat to them will be responded to swiftly and with great force. Weakness is not tolerated and the female is willing and quick to squash it. She is distrustful toward strangers, and any new face will be hard pressed to earn her trust and find it even more difficult, if not impossible, to gain her respect. The bitch moves through the world with her eyes on the horizon, always wanting to move forward, expand her empire, dominate the sanctuary by any means possible. This means one simple thing..she will ravage any competition. Love does not come easy to Powaqa, and the male that manages to snag her heart will undoubtedly be just as nasty and vicious as she. However, that does not mean she is above some flirting and a sleep around or two so long as she's not in heat so she will not risk conceiving unwanted puppies. Though she is heterosexual, she does seem to enjoy playing around with the feelings of willing females though she will not lay with them let alone take them as a partner. It seems to be more of a way to make her feel wanted, and so welcomes as well as displays flirtatious behavior toward the same gender as well as the opposite.
Powaqa regards pups as the future of Howahkan, but tolerates little from them. She's not prone to playful behavior, and is quick to rebuff such advances. She also does not tolerate hyperactivity in her presence and demands that youngsters sit still and pay attention to their elders in order to become the best they could be. Insolence has zero tolerance as well, and Powaqa is not one to hesitate in putting someone in their place and giving them a scar as a reminder to-boot.

:: H I S T O R Y ::

History: Powaqa was born into Howahkan with two other siblings, brother Pauwau and brother Ahiga to mother Njlon..an Atolat and to father Ho'Kee..an Awoo'. The start of her life was simple, eat, sleep, romp and repeat. Playtime was quickly diverted into sparring matches between the siblings..training started early..but the spars only served to draw them closer together. Powaqa had a dominant personality from the beginning, starting at challenging her brothers for a spot at their occupied teat..even if there were open spots..just to try to come out on top. As the pups grew, and teeth came into the mix, these spars and challenges for dominance became more bloody and more risky with varied results. It seemed the three pups were equal matches to one another, making for some proud parents. When Powaqa entered her juvenile stage she began to take an interest in the Atku. A scrawny and scarred female called Alsoomse was the Atku at the time and took notice of Powaqa's interest in her position. Knowing that in due time another Atku would be needed, Alsoomse took Powaqa under her wing and began to train her. Powaqa often accompanied Alsoomse during her days, only being barred from her presence whenever she had to perform Ayosdiha. During mid-adolescence, Powaqa gained a love interest. A dark grey male named Cahal, an aspiring Awoo' who had already spilled as much blood as the Theta Awoo' at his age, began to court the dark furred Atku-to-be. Only a few months into spring and Alsoomse declared Powaqa able to go on her first trip to the Spirit Realm. She carefully went over the instructions with the younger female before leaving her in a secluded place so she could have her experience.
This proved to be a terrible mistake, as the first-timer mis-dosed the Datura.
Alsoomse arrived later that night to find an unresponsive Powaqa. Though the adolescent was alive, it was barely. The Atku rushed Powaqa to the pack's Azee' where the healing wolves hovered over her..hours on hours..day into night..as the she wolf hung in the balance between life and death. On the fourth dawn Powaqa opened her eyes, having returned to the true world, only to learn devastating news. Ahiga and Njlon were dead. Powaqa listened with listless eyes and a heavy heart as Ho'Kee recounted the story for her ears. Njlon had proved to be unfaithful, running off with a strange loner male and abandoning Howahkan and her family. The Naat'aani pair had chosen Pauwau and Ahiga to hunt down their traitorous mother so that she could be dragged back to face the pack for her actions. Unfortunately, in the fight to drag Njlon home Ahiga was slain by his mother's rogue lover. Pauwau had been able to end his life in turn and drag the struggling Njlon home where she was subjected to Atasgi and Ayosdiha. After a slow recovering from her Datura overdose, Powaqa decided that the Atku was not the place for her. The mere thought of ingesting the plant again makes her stomach turn. So the female looked into other tasks and found that the Atolat would suit her lean muscled frame well. It was the prospect of hunting down enemies of Howahkan that drew her to it the most and once she began to train in that task Powaqa excelled. She began to rise in the tier of ranks, feather upon feather being placed in her scruff as a show of her status.
At four years of age Powaqa was given the title of Tsoh..officially marking her as next in line to inherit the Naat'aanii title. In celebration of her rise to the near top, Powaqa and Cahal sealed their future together and became mates and expectant parents. Weeks passed, and as Powaqa move about...mid-pregnancy with Cahal's children...she again was met with devastating news. During a raid on a nearby pack Cahal and the male Naat'aanii both fell in battle. Things began to cascade as the female Naat'aanii, an aged adult, decided it was time to pass the crown to Powaqa that very night. Stress overwhelmed the bitch and before she knew it labor pains wracked her until dawn. The pale golden light revealed an exhausted Powaqa and two small and cold bodies. The early born puppies did not survive. Heart heavy with mourning, the female moved through the following days in a fog..unaware of the hateful eyes that watched her until it was too late. Following her to a secluded part of the swamp, her own brother, Pauwau, challenged the bitch for the title of Naat'aanii and set upon her. The unexpected attack left Powaqa reeling mentally, but she would be damned if another thing would be taken from her. The battle was fierce and bloody and the noise of it attracted the attention of several other packmates. They stood by and watched, whooping and hollaring as they cheered one or the other on, and in only a matter of a couple of minutes Powaqa stood over Pauwau..victorious. She'd spared his life and with the witness of the other Howahkan wolves that had gathered the Naat'aanii banished Pauwau with the promise of death should he return to Howahkan lands. She commanded four Awoo' to escort her traitorous brother from the territory while she returned to the main den site to make the announcement to the rest. Now, a year later, stone-hearted Powaqa continues to rule over Howahkan.
