Rie's Origins

Lance the Dutch Shepherd and Ruby the Australian Shepherd

Lance was a stray that lived wild near the farm that Ruby guarded sheep at. Ruby was a champion Ausi with many ribbons and trophies to her name. When she suddenly became pregnant her owners were furious since they were going to breed her to another champion Ausi with the pups already expected by several people. The three pups that were born from the union of Lance and Ruby were sold off as soon as they were weened and Ruby was kept in the kennels instead of working the fields when ever she was near her seasons.

Rie was sold far from her mother's farm.
