This one has been my favorite to do so far. I still need to blend my large dark areas with the sheek a bit more but other than that I am very happy with it! It's great when you can actually see progression in your own work!Started mostly with Dry Bursh Oils, and smaller details done using pencil and a sharpened eraser.

Being from Illinois you'd think I would be oversaturated with pictures of Mr. Lincoln, but this is such a unique perspective that seems to really reflect the weight on a man in charge of a nation at war with itself. A great drawing to honor a great president.

My word, this is amazing. I dont think ive ever seen old Abe look so badass, wise and morose. Great emotion, great skill, great composition. This is an incredible drawing.
