Pokémon, those cute, cuddly and highly marketable creatures. For all of its Pikachus and Togepis, there are some definitely messed up creatures in the Pokémon world. The most terrifying have got to be the Ghost Pokémon, whose Pokédex entries are kind of dark for a kid’s game.Check out the rest of the series:

And then, you remember the head canon some have that the entries are authored by the player character. From that perspective, it’s funny or preserving urban legends...

And now we have Palossand, a Ghost/Ground type that possesses people to help make it bigger, and it eventually killed them and has their bones buried within it.

You know, reading these comics really makes me want to write some pokemon creepypastas, not that 'haunted gaming' shiz but horror stories that'd happen in the pokemon world. Like, imagine this mountain climber by accident stumbling into a Froslass' cave filled with ice statues, first he thinks 'wow, someone is a really skilled artist, but why put all these statues in a desolate cave?' then the statues (as he walks along) gets into weirder and weirder positions, like they are actually people freezing to death. Then -BAM- he comes accidentally knocks one of them down and when it shatters it reveals frozen dead flesh.
Then Froslass comes out and freezes him into a human Popsicle and uses the display to woo its mates.

This is kind of the inspiration for my pokefic. Pokemon are dangerous, man.

Most of them are actually based on old ghosts and demons from Japanese folklore. If look up the details behind them, a lot of them are even worse than these.

Yeah, they are pretty much the Disney versions of these Japanese ghost stories. Still doesn't make them any less disturbing in the context of happy-go-lucky Pokemon world.
