I felt the same way- but I have a little hope because in the comic sequel- Randall returns - although it's with Sid from Toy Story- which feels like a stupid pipe dream... So I don't take much stock in it...
I'm pretty sure it's implied by the creators of MI that he lives... and after they gave him a more sympathetic past - I think Pixar would back that statement up

But yes- I'd much prefer a happy ending for him - but this is just my twisted vision ;3;

Aah I'm sorry to hear that ;A; I can recommend some plush artists who can do similar work- but cost is probably high. 
NazFX does amazing work.

Very possible- but this is a dark series of events- like an extreme version. 
I doubt he would get to this point- but, as a lover of horror- I let myself get imaginative
