Loving the colors and lighting though! Must be tricky with so many legs and a long body to find that ultimate comfortable space.
Also intriguing to see this character so serene. As far as Pixar villains go, Randall was probably closer to being "all rotten" than most. Even Syndrome had more relatable reasons for his chosen path. Jealousy and lust for power are two hardcore motivators. I appreciate you showing Randall in a different setting.

It's interesting you say that- because Monsters University half answered his motivations- He wanted to be popular and have lots of friends- and Sulley accidentally shamed him in front of the whole Uni... then- after getting booted, Sulley and Mike became top scarers when Randall probably just got the top spot after finishing uni- so I'd see his pride stinging a lot. So when Waternoose offered him a way to be the best- and more 'valuable' he took it...
I'm very sympathetic to Randall- but it's mostly because he's a reptile- and I'm like particularly against reptiles being villainised XDD haha like Arbok and Slytherins lolΒ
