Intro to my animation for classi did this all in one night, in like no time flat, through all the distractions that my room provides, kachiiiing!

Really, one night, awesome. Would you say your an expert in flash or have about average skill. Because I'm an aspiring animator, but I want to know if animations take a real long time to create. From what you say about you getting this done in one night, it brings hope to me that animating isn't as hard or very time consuming as I thought.
I would appreciate it if you would answer my question. Thank you very much. This is amazing

Haha yeah, i did the whole minute and something short in about a week. I'm pretty quick if im not concerned with quality or anything. I've been trying to find the original files for awhile cause i'd like to post the final version eventually.
I'd say that my flash knowledge is maybe average, but barely if that. Flash is capable of a LOOOT of different things. The only thing i utilize its its ability to do frame by frame animation. As of late i've been combining flash, after effects, and photoshop to really bring out the full potential of my animations.
Animation is in fact very hard, and if you're worried about it being time consuming and difficult you've got another thing coming XD
Like any art form it takes work, a LOT of work.
I've been animating in flash for quite a few years just playing around with the program before i even actually thought about animation as a career, but now that i've been actually studying animation its a lot freakin harder than i thought it would be.

It looks real fun. I figured it would be a long process. A week of work to make about a minute of animating. That sounds reeeeeaaaaallll time consuming. I would love to learn how to make animations like yours in a considerable amount of time. Like, at least 6 minutes worth of action in about 3 days at least. Time consuming and hard is torture for me, time consuming and steady is just fine

haha it took me months to make less than two minutes of decent colored animation, and im still not even done with it! its definitely a lot of work, but definitely fun
Using flash you can do a lot of things quicker,but 6 minutes in three days just sounds like 3 all nighters and a crappy animation in the end XD
But doing it as a hobby would be cool, you wouldnt have to rush or anything, thats how i started doing it
Just give it a try and you'll see how you like it really quickly

I do traditional animation a lot, its harder than flash i think cause it forces you to actually do a good job, you can just whip up some bullcrap in flash really quick XD

Well, this will be my third year there but I've been going part time the whole time. So I'm still only a sophomore, which sucks I want to go full time sooooooo bad.
