Description
riding on a wave, gyroscopes spin with
prancing electromagnets,
pointed perpendicular toes
tapping up-and-down
top-to-bottom
guiding pigment eyes
to phosphorescent
nightclub blacklight tattoos,
shades of azure pulsing
through bodies thrumming
underwater to the
paradoxical beat of
Cherenkov

wonderful flow and this
and I'm for most any poem
that uses the word gyroscope
there's a rather great song
called gyroscope

Wow...pretty! Especially the way you managed to add a little physics spin to it. I love the second stanza (and the first as well), because for me, most of the time, it's the practical application, the amazing uses we have for it that amazes me. Particles and waves--yeah, I know about the photon, though not about the sine wave. But Cherenkov radiation? That's wow.

Thanks!
Physics spin. Intentional or not, that made me crack up.
