The cover for my 5th Edition Fandex. Hope that's acceptable. Didn't quite include all the units that I wanted but thus far I think this is the closest I'm going to get. But I do like it because they're beating up on the Ultramarines. I only hope my Tau Fandex comes out something as good. And ah, the GW logo was left out on purpose.
And grr, apparently when you exit Photoshop CS2, it indeed does not seem to save the progress, and I can't figure out how in the world I got it colored the way it is.

Outstanding work love the colours and tones that are combined to produce such artistic skill. Im a bad ass critic and my own worst enemy I cant find much wrong with this apart from some minor perspective issues on the figures but thats the hardest part to accomplish

I think it looks great. Only problem I'm personally having is the Warhammer logo, it's not suppose to be so bright and is suppose to kind of melt together with the sides (In color that is). Also it's suppose to be bigger, if you look at any of the codexes you can see that the Warhammer logo almost covers the whole top and not just the center
Also the logo down to the left is suppose to be smaller and you forgot the Games Workshop logo down to the right. But otherwise I think it looks great, you really picked out the right background picture for it

Games Workshop logo down on the right was left out on purpose. I definitely see the rest. This one of those few projects I actually bothered saving the steps so I'll go see if I can make that change. I'm also noticing the slight glow effect around it; that's not hard to do. Thanks a lot!

Miss my old codex of CSM, during the previous edition my good ol' Daemon Prince killed so many terminators and Farseers alike that I lost count! Still though, not to bad!

The funny thing about Eldar is that they are the same as Tua but have some units that are meant for close combat.

In the idea that they think vastly different from Mankind, I don't see any other relations. Their technology, weapons, and physiology are all very different. A scant few rules have been similar. So I guess I don't know what you mean.

They rule in shooting but are weak in close combat, exept for some (and only some).

Most of the Eldar are excellent close combatants. Dire Avengers can hold off and destroy an entire unit of Terminators. Warlocks and Farseers wound on 2+ and Strength 9 against vehicles. Wraithguard are wounded on a 6 against most with a high toughness. Storm Guardians with a Warlock and fusion guns can wipe out entire units of Space Marines or full squads of Orks. Swooping Hawks and Warp Spiders can easily defeat small groups of basic infantry in combat.
Harlequins, Howling Banshees, Striking Scorpions, Shining Spears, all close combat specialists.
That only leaves Dark Reapers, Fire Dragons, Rangers, Jetbikes, and Support Batteries.
Tau are specifically poor in close combat; their WS and Int basic is 2. Eldar on the other hand have an overall average of WS4 and Int 4, double that of Tau and higher than-as high as most.

The Fandexes are in the making, and it's just me. I'm doing everything but the art itself, that I'm grabbing from DeviantArt and a few other places.
Suggestions and ideas are most certainly welcome through notes or as comments in the latest 2 journal entries.

eldar are all about the bright colours, man
get one of each aspect unit and line them up so they make a rainbow. burns the retinas out of your opponent's face. undefeatable tactic!

Oh I remember now. You're the primitive Orkish lot of degenerated plant mass that knows no communication but how to roar. You look at Eldar as puny, brittle, somehow cowardly "gits". Lol, you mistake these qualities for what is intelligence.
