Discord was speeding through the rainy sky on his way home, holding little Synthia close to his chest to keep her warm as possible and to protect her from the rain.

Don't worry little one, we're almost home", Discord said once he felt the little cub shivering. He then let out a sigh of relief once his abode was in sight. Then he snapped his fingers and he was inside the living room. A few seconds later it started to rain even harder.

"Thank goodness, we made it. Feeling any better?", he asked the little bundle that was in his arms. She responded by giving out a little purr and a content smile. But the smile quickly faded once there was a little rumbling sound and the she started mewling.

"Oh, you poor thing, you're hungry! I could conjure up some chocolate milk, but you might be too young fo-", he looked down and saw that her eyes had brightened up when he mentioned chocolate.

"You're a chocolate lover too, huh? Alright, chocolate milk it is." With a snap of his fingers a baby bottle filled with chocolate milk appeared in front of Synthia's face, which she immediately grabbed with her little paws and started sucking on the tip of the bottle.

"Whoa, you aren't only hungry, you're starving! You were out there far too long." He laid down on the floor with Synthia lying down in his arms, with his paw holding up her head. For a few minutes, they just kept staring at each other, not breaking eye contact. Synthia was looking up at him in curiosity, Discord was looking at her in affection and pity. He was also a bit happy. For years he has always thought that he was the only dragonequus. He might've met one before, but if he did he couldn't remember. And now that he has found another one, he was gonna make sure that he cared for her, and love her as if she was his own.

"How can anyone leave you out there in the cold like that? You know what, I don't know much about being a parent, but by Celestia I'm gonna try." He heard a little hiccup and looked down to see Synthia had finished the milk, and then she started to yawn.

"I guess we'll drop by Fluttershy's house tomorrow, hopefully she can help me. Well, goodnight and sweet dreams..... my little princess of chaos."

Hey, not trying to give away much, but does anybody smell foreshadowing in the sixth paragraph, or is it just me?
