Description
Please note, this is not the finalized version of the City class ironclad (protected gunboat really) as its out of scale and I'm not totally satisfied with it yet but it shows what the final version will look like. I used the Carpenters mod slopes for the armored casement and the Ancient weapons mod for the guns, plus the smoke blocks from the Twilight Forest mod for the stacks.Related content

This looks like the USS Texan from the movie Sahara. Very good job, I guess the carpenters mod is the savior in it's case!

I think you mean the CSS Texas, which was from the movie, and yes they are very similar in design. The City class USS Cairo is what I used as the base model for this build as it is the only recovered example of the City class ships. I keep hoping I can go see it someday.
The carpenters mod is wonderful for this kind of build as it gives me the slops not only for armor but also for the earthen star forts and riverside gun emplacements
