I'll just start by saying that I didn't expect to be able to draw this BUUT references are a God sent I know I'll be using them a lot from now on. In this case, I referenced the pose which can be found there tegaki.pipa.jp/411067/24874187…Now about the drawing itself, I've been wanting to draw Hailey and Gladion for a long time but I always told myself that it wouldn't look good. But this time I decided to ignore my negative thoughts and I want ahead! I'm actually pretty proud about how it came out I wanted to transmit feelings of tenderness and I think I did? I imagine this takes place after Gladion's Silvally gets injured by Team Alkahest's admin and they come back from the Aether Paradise, where they had to operate the pokémon. It's while they are there that Gladion finally admits to himself that he is in love with her
The drawing's title comes from a song by the same name by Paramore. The lyrics really fit the way Gladion feels, even if it's sung by a female (me and my habit of listening mostly to female singers XD). Oh and the "painting" in the wall? It's the profile picture of my YouTube channel, I just added an oil painting filter. It's like a nod to my former internet identity
