Psykronians greatly value motherhood. In fact, their entire religion revolves around the mother goddess Za. It is said that every Psykronian queen and princess is descended from Za and have inherited Her beauty, power, and wisdom.

The late queen Kythea Mer-Za was no exception. She was more than just a fine ruler for her people and the beloved wife of King Varkon Vom-Ro; she was also a devoted mother to her daughter Krya Vom-Za. Some of Krya’s greatest virtues were passed down to her from her mother Kythea: kindness, compassion, fairness. Kythea was always there for Krya, and they formed a close bond.

Sadly, Kythea was assassinated when Krya was still just a child. All of Psykron mourned the loss of their queen, but it was her husband and daughter who took her loss the hardest.

To this day, Krya pays tribute to her mother each year on the day she died. She evens sees her mother in her dreams occasionally in which she gives Krya advice and guidance in times of hardship.
