I must say, this shot is quite a find! It's so hard to find the babies of a hummingbird! I try all the time to find them but I never can. The babies are perfect, I love how you captured the nest. The background colors, the blue/green/white, brings out a lovingness, as these are along the lines of baby colors. It's almost like the mother hummingbird chose this spot not because it was a sturdy place, but because the colors were already painted for a nursery!

I have nothing wrong to say about this photo! You captured the branches perfectly, as they age, you caught the feathers perfectly, you can count them also! The detail in the nest is very good. You can see what the hummingbird mother/father made it with. I am surprised you caught it though. I've been told the nests are no bigger than a quarter or a .50cent piece.

Overall wonderful macro shot, wonderful moment. Keep up the awesome work!

It was small! I'd have to say about the size of a half-dollar as well. I'm surprised two babies could fit. I started to worry that one or the other would throw the other out

Never happened! And they still hang around our yard, it's fun to watch them "dance" with each other around the feeder.

I hope the nest is reused this year - if it's still there, haven't checked all year - I want another go and photographing baby hummingbirds with their mother!

wow...that's small! I'd worry about them fighting for space.

At least you see them have fun which is a good thing! Makes them happy and you happy at the same time!

If it isn't reused at all, you could take it down spray something on it to keep it intact and use it for other uses, even practice with it for macro shots and put little eggs in it. It's a great plan if it's unused.

That's a great idea! I'll check if it's there when I leave the house for today!
