So my art show was a huge success
A good turn out of people came, I sold some paintings, comics, and prints that night and everyone was super supportive of my work! It was a blast!
And now that the opening is done I can start to post up some of the new pieces I made for this show. The first piece was an acrylic on wood panel 9x12 of a computer mouse. Anyone who knows from my previous posts the computer mouse is a minion/helper character of Promiscuous. They feed on the blood of human victims she drains of life and soul. Painting on wood makes a lot of texture and you tend to see the strokes a lot as the paint gets into the grain....but it gave a nice effect that looked kinda new and different from my usual smooth canvas pieces.

Id take a real computer mouse any time haha but Im sure feeding it will be hard considering it eats humans and cell phone batteries....hmmmm

so good to see the lower shot, it really pops out! I love this one so much, the creepy portruding spine reminds me of my scroll wheel on my computer mouse XD

ah thanks! yeah sometimes I try to take pics from far away so the piece can be seen beyond the image...and yes! The spine is supposed to be like a scroller
