Greetings everyone.

I would like to introduce you to Nica, a female Raichu from my story titled as Little Lost Raichu, a pokemon and Mlp crossover.

This is the same character that I uploaded already, but with background and shadow. I wonder if the scenery adds or takes away form this art. I deply appologise for repetition.

Raichu is my favorite pokemon, and for a while I was thinking about design for my Raichu character, and here is the result. Don't be fooled by her thin and innocent appearance. Her little body was hardened by years of struggles and hard battles and her skills shouldn't be underestimated.

Her belly is way more thin than other Raichu, a side effect of her intense training focused on speed and agility.

Being helpful and protecting others.
Fighting against the odds.
Fighting legendary, mega evolved and DYNAMAX pokemon.
Sweets and cakes.
Hugs and belly rubs.
Those who are kind and honorable.

Hates =
Bullying and bullies.

Fighting weaker opponents and having a type advantage.
Accidentally hurting others with her electricity.

Strengths =
Insane durability and stamina. Specialization in very long battles and combos.
Fast and Agile fighting style. Great reflexes and very high jumps.
Mastery of Iron Tail and tail fencing. Defensive fighting style, often used to protect others.
Refined fighting skills. She uses perception and technique over brute strength.
Team player. She cares for her team first and of herself second.
Ability to read and write. Can communicate with humans using paper and pen.
Ability to sense emotions of others. She can sense evil intent and can fight while blinded.
Insane willpower during training and when facing against the odds.
Self Improvement. During her long battles she can adapt to her opponent fighting style.

Weaknesses =
Weak offensive capabilities. She can't do much damage, her fights drags on for long.
Lack of willpower when facing weaker opponents.
Too kind for her own good.
Ability to sense emotions of others. Sensing frustration and anger discourages her.
Fragile mind. Easy to upset and discourage with words. Can't handle insults.
Almost never uses electricity against flying and water pokemon.
Reckless. She often puts herself on the verge of death from overtraining or by protecting others.
Low self esteem. Fear of failure and fear of being useless never leaves her.

Her personality =
Kind, selfless, reckless, low self esteem. Unlike most pokemon, she isn't competitive. She values honor and respect over victories in battle. She often tires her foes rather than beat them.
Her performance in battle heavily rests on her willpower and determination. If she don't want to fight or hesitates, her performance will be very poor, but when she is motivated or lives are on the line, there is no force that can stop her.

Equipment =
She wears two pink ribbons on her ears and one on her tail, she wears advanced training collar on her neck. As long as she wears her collar, her strength, power and speed is weakened, and she is drained of her health and stamina, but her training becomes much more effective.

Nowadays she wears her collar all the time, using it to make her fights more fair against weaker and unevolved opponents.

Movepool =
Thunderbolt. She uses weak but fast and accurate thunderbolts, striking at every opportunity.
Volt Tackle. She strikes fast and hard, often combining it with her Iron Tail.
Iron Tail. Used for fencing and to deflect enemy physical attacks. Weak, fast combos.
Focus Blast. Used in the past, replaced by Light Screen once she developed defensive style.
Light Screen. Used to keep herself and her team safe from special attacks.

Backstory, short version.
Nica was born and raised on a snowy mountain on an island located between Alola and Orange Islands. At her young age, she was a bit of a bully, teasing and pranking her brothers and sisters, and often bulling water and flying pokemon.

One day a young girl climbed up a mountain, a girl named Astra, who wanted to become a pokemon trainer but had no pokemon and no family, asking every pokemon she encountered to become her partner.

While other pichu were not interested, she challenged the girl to a battle. For half a year the girl would climb up the mountain and accept her challenge, until one day she finally lost to the human, becoming her partner.

For next half a year her trainer taught her how to write and read.

For years she was often send into battle against stronger opponent or was having a type disadvantage, learning how to overcome such odds. Encouraged by her trainer to delay her evolution, she took it as personal challenge, learning how to use Z moves and facing trials of Alola and Orange Islands as a pichu.

It took two years and a fight against Alakazam during Kanto League before she evolved into a pikachu, and next two years and victory against Brandon's Regice, Regirock and Registeel before she was given a Thunderstone.

Because of that, becoming a Raichu was both reward and great accomplishment in her eyes, seeing it as a great honor.

Riolu that her trainer caught helped her develop ability to sense emotions of others. Sadness, anger, happiness, no emotion was hidden from her.

One day she tried to help people trapped in a burning building, failing to save one human life. This traumatic experience and fear of failure haunted her ever since. Because of that she started overtraining herself, putting herself at the verge of death. Her trainer, after failing to stop her, did her best to keep her alive.

Determined to never fail again, she masted use of her long tail and greatly improved her durability and stamina. She developed agile and defensive fighting style, specializing at keeping others safe and defending them from greatest dangers.

Because as pichu and pikachu she was always fighting against the odds, as Raichu she suddenly found herself having advantage for a change, winning most battles easily while sensing her opponents frustration, anger and disappointment. Because of that she started to hold back against weaker foes and refused to use electricity against flying and water pokemon.

Seeing that, her trainer got her an advanced training collar that would weaken her, but aid her trainings. Nica decided to wear this collar at all times to even the odds against weaker and unevolved pokemon. However, she was always the first to jump into battle when facing mega evolved, Dynamax and legendary pokemon in order to push her limits.

Her many experiences greatly affected her personality, turning her from a immature bully into a powerful, kind and honorable pokemon. Unfortunately her psyche was negatively affected, resulting in low self esteem and inner fears.
