"People often ask how you become a Legionnaire?... The answer is a little hard to explain, unlike many armies a legion soldier does not need to have a specific species, background or even from a specific universe. Some where distinguished war veterans others where never soldiers before they became a Legionnaire... What happens is that the reapers are out there, tirelessly searching for people who has what the Legion needs, courage, intelligence, kindness and a sense for upholding the greater good... But what I think that is the most important feature is their ability to fight the curse of the legion... One of our greatest advantages is that no matter how many times we are killed in battle, we always return back to the legions home-world and return to the battlefield with a vengeance, but this ability is also our greatest curse. Because that means we have to see endless battlefields, endless horrors and never-ending amounts of evil... The ability to go through that for as long as a Legionnaire's service period of 1.000 years and not completely lose their will to live, is a feature that only true legionnaires have. And it all begins with the words the reapers speak when the people who are selected are found and are ready to leave their world and their life behind... I was suppose to upload this a while ago, but a certain friend of mine pointed out a series of mistakes I did regarding the battlefield and soldiers design.... So I had to come back and finish it a bit later once I had the patience and time to finish it.
