Well of course! They aren't the same thing at all! We're wolfs turn on the full moon, and silver bullets yadda yadda. Skin walkers from what I know, Literally wear skin to become the animal. I've also heard that they can use the voice of your loved ones calling for help to lure you out into the night. The two are completely different.
