Description
Another one from my graphic novel. Ive drawn this character before but felt I could do a better job than the last one, which was a while ago.The character has also undergone a name change.

The character is based on Rachael Taylor (Transformers)

Thanks for the comment bud. ย Well story wise she's meant to be crosstraining with American PJ's hence the american gear and weapons. ย I just wanted to show the British flag in the pic to show shes British and maybe just a little patriotic.

That's a good point, actually. Funnily enough, just earlier today I saw a photo of some RAF Regiment troops using M4's whilst on a joint training exercise with US forces - I've even seen GROM troops swapping plate carriers with US military special operators.
I digress. Keep up the good work!

She was training for Millitary Police. When her unit did a promotional video you could easily see her. She was the only 'girl' keeping up with the 'boys'.

Ahhh, well, in the story she's cross training in pararescue with a Blackhawk crew from America, so, she's using American equipment!

I've seen the original picture this is based on. You did a very nice job touching up the camouflage and editing the face and arms. The tally marks on the radio pouch are also subtle, but a very cool little detail.

I thought a little bit of writing to add character would be cool. I went through alot of different military phrases and things but that one caught my eye

Interesting to see a Brit use American equipment, but very well done.

In the backstory for her character she's meant to be crosstraining with an American Search and Rescue Blackhawk crew, hence all the amrican equipment. The whole story is set 5 - 10 years in the future so hopefully by then our British government will start buying equipment off the Americans because its better and cheaper than the equipment we use at the minute!! No wonder the SAS use american equipment! LOL

Well Im always on the lookout for decent photo's of soldiers and stuff cause its great for reference. I just used a photo of a soldier for reference regarding the clothing. I use reference photo's for almost everything I draw or paint cause trying to draw something from memory or just make stuff up is extremely difficult to make look realistic, some people can do it but I just look for reference for things
