Indi had been watching the handsome young band stallion she came to know as Blaze for several days now. In her days of observing him she learned a great many things about the aptly named blazing red stallion. For one he was new to the herd stallion life. It was easy to tell that his mares still held an air of caution about them and many had foals tucked close to their sides who bore no resemblance to the young prince. For two he was strong, and fast, and naive, so beautifully naive. His naivety and trusting nature would be his undoing, and Indi’s saving grace.

With Orion circling her like a vulture, and Bramble refusing her various advances, Indi was becoming desperate. Thus the palomino paint mare was left grasping for some form of control over the situation. Her plan was simple, seduce the young stallion and pass the resulting foal off as Bramble’s. Blaze’s appaloosa markings resembled her dark lead’s close enough, as for his brightly colored coat and paint markings those she could pass off as her own. This pregnancy, and the resulting foal, would be insurance for the pale mare. Bramble wouldn’t run off a pregnant mare, or a foal, much less one of his own. He was far too soft hearted for that.

This she had formulated the perfect plan, guaranteeing insurance in case things were to go south with Bramble. Now all she needed to do was catch Blaze’s eye….
