Thanks but I didn"t win,I came in second though . Sorry I am so late with a reply but I have been out all day-It's there-its the extended forcastalthough I had to go into the skin ini and adjust it to not show the background images for that panel. If you need help just let me know and maybe I can talk you thru it.

oh....i found it...but i am afraid you might have to go through the pain of explaining me about how to edit this skin to remove the background....and also, though i have set the unit as c(Celsius), yet still it shows only Fahrenheit... .thanks for your efforts..

No problem-right click on the omnimo3 weather panel and select 'Edit Skin". Now look for the 2 lines of code that read 'ImageName=#Imagedir#\btn3.png'. After you find those 2 lines just add '1' after the .png in both lines-you should have this:ImageName=#Imagedir#\btn3.png1
Now save and close, refresh the panel and you should have transparent backgroud.
Now for the celcius, you can try this although I am not sure if this is correct so if it doesn"t work make sure to return it to its previos values. OK again ight click the weather panel and select edit skin. This time look for the line of code that reads 'Url=[link] *&unit=i&dayf=6' and where it reads 'unit=i' change to 'unit=m' close and save and refresh the panel. If that doesn"t work change it back to what it was and let me know. Hope that helps

really nice, I like this a lot
Can you tell me, what font is the top one (Wedenesday...)? It is definitely not a Segoe font included in Win7, but seems to be exactly the great font used in WP7.

Leuchtstoff In reply to fediaFedia [2011-01-21 19:23:04 +0000 UTC]
it's wonderful. Too bad, I guess it is only 'officially' available on the WP7?

fediaFedia In reply to Leuchtstoff [2011-01-21 21:33:03 +0000 UTC]
Nope, download Omnimo 3

rather simple really. right click on the Omnimo icon in the system tray and navigate to to "Configs". Once the mouse cursor is over the "Configs" another menu will open, now move the cursor over "WP7" which will open another menu and you will left click the top iem in the list "galleryarrow, ini". This will place a "box" on the desktop with all the panels and text items available in Omnimo3.1 all you do is left button click each item to install or remove from desktop. Use the screenshot here as your guide if you want to make it look just like mine but you might find as you are doing this that you might like something different and more to your individual liking. Good luck!!

Actually just read what I wrote and when you open galleryarrow.ini it puts an arrow on the desktop and when you left click the arrow that puts the little box with all the panel and text shortcuts on the desktop-sorry about the confusion,

Download the program called "rainmeter" from the link above in the screenshot discription. After you have it installed download the "Omnimo3.1" theme again from the link above. After you hane downloaded you will need to unzip it and follow the instructions that are included to install, very straightforward and easy to follow. Next have fun with all the different panels-place and resize them to your hearts content. You can follow the screenshot above or make your own completely different desktop that suits your individual taste. I hope this helps but if not feel free to ask any questions you might have.

computerdummy5 In reply to Mysterious99 [2010-12-30 12:17:11 +0000 UTC]
You should be able to mouse over the bottom right hand corner of the panels and this should bring into focus a small triangle that can be left mouse clicked to bring up a button to resize the panel. Does this help?

indeed so, there are quite a few memes hidden in the suite, in fact, we wanted to hold a contest with prizes to anyone who would find all of the memes, but we figured it's too hard for deviantart users, so dont bother...
