The notorious Atari 5200 controller.Faulty beyond belief. Ridiculous design. And all around defective piece of a failed game system.
The Atari 5200 was by all means...well..we'd all just rather forget about it and throw them all in a landfill.
The controller supported overlays that would be inserted on top of the numeric key pad. A feeble attempt at giving some sort of organization to a very confusing button layout.
A fault with the 5200, unlike the 2600 and 7800, is that the controller was not interchangeable with other controllers such as the Sega Genesis controller, 2600, and 7800.

There was the trackball controller, and it was more stable.

You made the keypad buttons too small compared to the real deal, but otherwise, a very nice rendition of the pad. And really, the worst problem with the 5200 controller was that it broke easily. Hell, IIRC some systems CAME with broken controllers.

I showed the 5200 controller to my 7 year old nephew and that's the first thing he said. lolol minus the swearing of course.
